What is more therapeutic than taking a long & peaceful walk? Days I'm unable to get out (like these lovely snow days) or I'm inside editing I love to look at these trails & remember how calming the moment felt. I think of the sounds of water, the birds, & the rustling every once in awhile when the squirrels would play.
You can almost feel the warmth & energy from the sun after awhile. I just love getting lost in a photo & browse through famous nature photographer's work often. This is my form of meditation & the best way to fight cabin fever (in my very humble opinion).
Since the name change & start of our Grand Re-Opening I've had a few inquires about our new name Wild Red.
Where did that come from? Why Wild Red?
I smile because I love the explanation no matter how many times I may need to give it in the future. My start in photography began in the wild with wildlife & nature photos for art & decor prints as well as stock photos. I am very much an 'outdoors' kind of girl & even on those days I can't be out on an adventure climbing mountains & tracking wildlife, I am still very much wild at heart, and a redhead to boot. My choice to change to Wild Red Photography is not only in honor of my passion for photography but also a highlight of where I began & the love for my growing business. I'm grateful for these opportunities to meet new people, capture their forever moments, & being able to give back to my community. It's been a never ending blessing!
Come take a walk on the wild side with me & follow Wild Red Photography through our blog & facebook page. I love what I do & I can only wish to convey that through my photos. I hope my 'Wild Wednesday' posts bring you that same peaceful serene feeling & maybe inspire you to get out & about! I would love to hear what you found to explore in Harrisburg & the surrounding areas.
